Service has been part of my career from local chapters to national GCSAA involvement, education and workforce development.
National participation
Committee, task-group, research, BMP, advocacy and Grassroots Ambassador service.
Education & access
Work with Palo Alto College and ACGT youth and career initiatives to introduce more people to turf and golf-course careers.
Chapter service
Relationships are the real value of participation.
Chapter involvement has never been only about holding a title. It is about showing up, sharing ideas, competing together, learning from one another and building a network that makes the profession stronger.
Why serve?
Because someone invested in us first.
Mentors, peers, chapter leaders and educators helped create opportunities throughout my career. Serving the profession is one way of returning that investment and making sure the next person has an opportunity to learn, connect and advance.
